The semi-mythical character of Lagertha was a Viking shieldmaiden who ended up controlling all of what is now Norway during the Viking golden age. Such a powerful character served as a source of inspiration for many stories, and more recently she became one of the main characters of the TV series “Vikings”. And as it turns out, Lagertha is also the name of a fun video slot game from Fugaso.

The Adventure Begins
Lagertha is based on relatively simple graphics, as the action takes place in the belly of a mighty Viking ship on its way to a new raid. The reels and command buttons compete for space in the haul with barrels of beer and various weapons.
The general look of Lagertha might be a little simple and cartoonish, but the animations and sound effects still have enough character to send you back to medieval Scandinavia in a second.
